Education & Explainers

Explainer audiences respect a comment that restates the idea correctly and asks the next question.

Where to comment

Comment on explainers where you can restate the idea, apply it, or name the edge case the video skipped.

What good looks like

Restate the idea in your own words, show where you applied it or where it broke for you, and ask the next question the video leaves open.

Example draft

So if I have this right, the bottleneck is the training data, not the algorithm — which is why more compute does not fix the bias on its own. Is that a fair summary?

Edited version

Restating it back to check I have it right: the bottleneck is not the algorithm, it is the data it is trained on, which is why more compute alone does not fix the bias. Is that a fair summary, or am I missing a second bottleneck?

Why it works

A correct restatement plus a follow-up question signals understanding, helps other learners, and invites the creator to teach one step further.

What not to do

  • • Do not correct the creator with a claim you cannot back up in one sentence.
  • • Do not paste homework questions or ask the creator to do your assignment.
  • • Do not derail an explainer with an unrelated debate.

A weekly routine

Two explainers a week in one subject. Comment only when you can restate the core idea accurately — that test alone filters out most generic comments.
